Cookies & Device Storage
This page lists every cookie and every item the PLANORA website saves in your browser, and why.
1. Summary
PLANORA uses only storage that is needed for signing in, security, your display preferences, events you bookmark, and drafts or carts you have not sent yet. PLANORA does not use analytics, advertising, social-media pixels, fingerprinting or any third-party tracking cookies. Because nothing optional is stored, PLANORA does not show a cookie consent banner.
2. Cookies
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
PLANORASESSID | Keeps you signed in while you use PLANORA and protects forms against forgery. Secure and HTTP-only (scripts cannot read it). | Until you sign out, close the browser or the session times out | Strictly necessary, first-party |
planora_trusted_device | Set only if you tick "Trust this browser" after a sign-in code. Lets you skip the e-mail code on this browser. It holds random identifiers (one per account you trust on this browser, up to 8), never your password. HTTP-only. | 30 days, or until you sign out of trusted devices | Security, first-party, optional (you choose it) |
Participant pass links do not set a cookie. The pass code is in the part of the link after #; the pass page reads it and sends it only to PLANORA to show that one pass.
3. Browser storage
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
planora_theme, planora-public-theme | Remembers light or dark mode | Until you clear site data |
planora_density, planora_sidebar, planora_admin_sidebar, planora_notifications | Remember dashboard layout and on-screen notification preferences | Until you clear site data |
planora_launch_seen_v3 (session storage) | Shows the welcome animation only once per visit | Until the tab is closed |
planora:booking:<account number> | Held an unsent CLIENT booking draft from the earlier "Book your event" page. That page now opens "My event requests", so PLANORA no longer saves new booking drafts; a draft saved earlier can remain in this browser. | Until you clear site data. It stays in this browser after you sign out, so clear site data on a shared device. |
planora:event-cart:<account number>:<request>:<organizer> (session storage) | Keeps the services in your CLIENT event cart on "Deposits & supplier orders", with a one-time checkout reference that prevents a double payment | Until the payment goes through or you close the tab |
planora-private-draft:<account number>:<request>:<form> (session storage) | Saves an unsent CLIENT event brief (new, revised or reopened) on "My event requests", or an unsent Organizer proposal on "Proposal invitations", while you move between its steps | Until you submit it or close the tab; a draft older than 12 hours is discarded |
planora_saved_events | Remembers which events you bookmarked on the Explore Events page (event numbers only) | Until you clear site data |
4. Retired app and offline tools
The PLANORA Android app and the offline event-day tools are retired. A phone that still has the old app, or a browser that used the old offline check-in page, may keep its old storage (for example planora_offline_scans_v1, planora.event.app-choice from the former app download prompt, or an offline page cache) until you remove the app or clear site data. PLANORA no longer uses or accepts that stored data. The former "Choose your organizer" page and its tab-only brief draft (planora:event-brief:<account number>, session storage) are retired too; that draft ended when its tab closed.
5. Other websites
When you sign in with Google or open a map link, you go to that provider's own website (Google or OpenStreetMap), which uses its own cookies under its own policy. PLANORA has no online payment page: you pay the Organizer from your own GCash, MariBank or GoTyme app. PLANORA does not embed their trackers in PLANORA pages.
6. Your choices
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to sign in. Signing out removes the session; un-trusting a device removes the trusted-device cookie.
Version history
| Version | Date | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-v2 | October 23, 2026 | Factual scope revision: three account roles (Admin, Organizer, CLIENT); event participants use individual pass links without accounts; suppliers are business records managed by Organizers; no PLANORA mobile app; supervised QR Entry/Exit replaces RFID; device GPS and app location sharing are not collected; the NORA assistant is switched off. Payments are manual only: payers send GCash, MariBank or GoTyme transfers directly to the Organizer and upload proof, a payment counts after the Organizer verifies it, and PLANORA records the evidence but does not hold or transfer money; no online payment processor receives data. No new fee, refund entitlement, retention period or data-sharing purpose was added. |
| 2026-07-v1 | October 7, 2026 (draft) | First published set: five roles (Admin, Organizer, Guest/Client, Supplier, Attendee), web and Android app, QR and RFID attendance. |
When a new version is published, signed-in CLIENT accounts are asked to review and accept it before continuing. Each acceptance is stored with its own version, date and time.
